It’s official: the undertaking for the sale of shares was signed on 8 July of this year.
Maison Klipfel in Barr will join the Les Grands Chais de France group through its subsidiary Arthur Metz.
This family-run company was founded by Martin Klipfel in 1824 using 40 ha of vineyards of which 32 ha of their own wine estate, while benefiting from the prestigious terroirs of Clos Zisser and Grand Cru du Kirchberg.
The company Eugène Klipfel SA achieved 60% to 70% of its sales in France and mainly to coffee houses, hotels and restaurants. This new union will enable the GCF Group to make further inroads into this distribution sector and expand its offer and brand portfolio.
